Do I need to use Notion? I use Trello / Google Drive.
Notion is what we use, and the only reason is that it sits in the cloud and talks to the AI tools easily. If you'd rather use something else, you can apply this same framework in whatever cloud program suits your brain. Honest heads up on the two we get asked about most: Google Drive works, we started there, it's just clunkier - updates sometimes struggle and you end up copying things back and forth. Trello could probably do something very similar, but it may have a few hiccups pushing and editing, so check how well it talks to your AI first. The other thing Notion gives you is a rules page and an index at the top, so your AI reads only the pages it needs instead of burning through everything.
I'm not great at learning new systems. Do I have to learn Notion?
Honestly, no. Your AI does that part for you - it builds the pages, and as long as you can click the link it gives you, you can go in and see it. Mia didn't even like Notion before this (too many tabs, too many pages). You don't really need to go in there. It's a storage place your AI taps into, updates and learns from. You'll pick it up over time, but you don't have to do anything in Notion to get your brain built.
What's the bare minimum I need to start?
Notion and your AI. That's it. When we teach this live, people see us mention Slack, GitHub, agents and scheduled routines and assume it's all required - it isn't. Those are things you can add much later if you ever want them. The one thing that matters is getting your business out of your head and into a brain your AI can draw from. Everything else is optional extra.
Which AI does it work with? Claude or ChatGPT?
Either, and that's deliberate. The brain is the thing that matters, not the platform - you can point Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini at the same brain, so you're never locked in and you don't have to chop and change if you switch tools. We use Claude because of its projects and connectors, but the Builder gives you master prompts you can paste into whichever AI you already use. It's also the answer to a problem we've watched people hit: if your AI account ever gets cancelled or banned, your business isn't trapped inside it, because the brain lives separately in your own cloud.
Do I need to be a coder or technical?
No. If you can answer questions about your own business and copy-paste, you can do this. People see GitHub mentioned and panic - you only need GitHub if you're building websites and apps with Claude Code. If you're not doing that, you don't need it at all. Mia barely goes into GitHub herself.
How long does it take?
Give yourself 45 minutes to an hour. Make a cup of tea and talk it through properly rather than rushing it, because the more you speak it out in your own natural language, the more your AI understands how you actually write and talk. You don't have to do it in one sitting either - your answers save as you go, so you can do it in chunks as short as your focus allows.
Do I need Whisper Flow or any other paid tool?
No. You can talk straight into Claude with the microphone, or just type. We use Whisper Flow because it picks up dictation better on a computer and strips out the ums and stumbles, and it works in any app - but it has a free plan, and it's a nice-to-have, not a requirement.
How do I keep it up to date once it's built?
You talk to it. "Hey Claude, my prices have changed on my offers, can you update my second brain?" and it just does it - you don't have to go into Notion, find the offers page and edit the pricing yourself. The set-up also logs the changes as you go, so it gets better over time and you can see what's been happening.
Do I actually own it? What if I never buy anything from you again?
It's yours, fully. Once your brain is built it lives in your own Notion account, not ours - you can update it, change it and add to it whenever you like, forever. Same with the Builder, the mini course and the skills library: one payment, yours for life. There's nothing to cancel and nothing to lose access to.

Then build more than one brain. Each one gets its own rules and its own way of doing things, and you point your AI at whichever one you're working in. We do a version of this ourselves - we each have our own project folders so the output genuinely sounds like whoever's writing, and when we build something together we tell it to use both our voices.
What is Brain Dump to Done, and do I need it?
You don't need it, the Builder works on its own. Brain Dump to Done is the next step: it turns the brain you just built into your content writer. You talk at it once a week, as messy as you like, and it writes a full week of content in your voice, ready to post. The rules live in your own Notion, so it works with Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini and you can swap whenever you want. You can only get it bundled with the Builder at this price, and like everything else here it's once-off and yours for life.
Is the price in Australian dollars?
Yes, all our prices are in AUD. If you're outside Australia it'll convert at whatever your card's rate is on the day, which usually works out cheaper than the sticker price looks.
How is this different from Hive AI?
The Second Brain Builder is a self-serve, once-off product: the tool, the mini course and the bonus library, done in your own time.
